It's been a while...

Hey, folks! Happy New Year! I'm all late, I know. Well, I've had an unexpected change in plans. I had guest in town for the holidays and pretty much didn't run for 2-3 weeks. Sux, I know. Next time I plan to go out and make it happen regardless of visitors. It really set me back. However, after the change of the year I decided to hop on board with my family and step it up. So, I've joined Weight Watchers and I continue to run. My running has been going well. My plan has been doubled up, because I have a run coming up in February that I have to do in a certain amount of time. It's a two mile run. And while I don't doubt that I can run the two miles, I'm afraid of the pace I have to keep, but I'm giving this month training all I've got, so we will see...
I have no doubt that my running has helped accelerate my weight loss so far. I'm learning how to eat, I'm never hungry and I've lost 7.2lbs in two weeks! So, this is great! I will continue to post. After my timed run, I will continue to run and hopefully train for a March 5K that I've yet to sign up for. lol. But I do have goals...
